THE WILDERNESS FAMILY PART 2

Robert Logan
Susan Damante Shaw
Directed by: Frank Zuniga

The Further Adventures Of The Wilderness Part Two is the actual title on the film - though not on the box.

This was the sequel to the above film, as a 400' extract it is the better of the two, both in content and print.

Lots of snow scenes and catchy tunes make this a very enjoyable film. Again the film opens on a long title sequence superimposed onto richly coloured autumn scenery as a plane flys in supplies and warnings of a long, hard winter ahead.

The family awake one morning to find a thick blanket of snow covering the land. The whole family, including the two bear cubs (from part one) join in the fun to the song "Snowflakes".

A mountain lion and wolves disturb the peace before the family settle down to trimming the Christmas tree. What seems to be a full set of titles plays out to the main theme.

A beautiful filmed and exciting story, with excellent sound and print quality, the best this reviewer has seen from Derann, who tell me they have only the odd prints of these films now, so you may have to search around a bit to obtain one. Highly recommended..

Editors footnote:- Part 1 was made from a 16mm master, and Part 2 from a 35mm master and this accounts for the different print quality.
