CAREFREE. (1938)

Astaire plays a psychiatrist who is asked to help a radio singer (Ginger Rogers) with her love life, but he ends up in love with her himself.

Some of the original plot is retained, the reel opening (after a brief extract of the titles with Fred on the golf course teeing off and tap dancing to Since They Turned Loch Lomand Into Swing. Also included is the dream sequence I Used To Be Colour Blind, The Yam and Change Partners- Music and lyrics by Irving Berlin.

The print is reasonable, although the Change Partners number is on the dark side.
