Walt Disney Home Movies, used to release their product on to the home market. Keeping it carefully controlled, they only released 50' 200' and 400' The vast majority were 200' versions of between 6/8 minutes. Usually an extract lifted from an animated feature.
In their time releases started in silent standard 8 to sound super 8. The company themselves never released complete features. A few years after they closed the 8mm department, Derann Films step in to obtain the 8mm rights for release.
